Data Sharing and Third Parties

• With Meta/WhatsApp for API functionality (as required for service operation)
• With AWS for secure cloud hosting and infrastructure services
• With payment processors for transaction processing (encrypted)
• When required by law or legal process
• With your explicit consent for specific business integrations

Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with third-party platforms including WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram. When you use these integrations, your information may be subject to the privacy policies of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Google User Data

Google Contacts

When you connect a Google account to the Google Contacts sync, we ask for your email address (to show which account is connected) and access to your Google Contacts. We use this access only to copy the contacts you keep in Genie ERP into a "Genie ERP" label in your Google Contacts and to keep them up to date. We read your existing Google contacts only to match phone numbers, so the same person is not added twice. We do not import your Google contacts into Genie ERP, and we do not change or delete contacts that Genie ERP did not create.

We store only the connected Google account's email address, an encrypted access token, and the link between each Genie ERP contact and its Google contact. We do not sell Google user data, share it with third parties, use it for advertising, or use it to develop or train AI models. Our staff do not read it, except with your permission, for security reasons, or when the law requires it.

You can disconnect at any time from the Google Contacts page in Genie ERP or from your Google Account permissions. When you disconnect, we revoke the access and delete the stored token.

Gmail

When you connect a Gmail address with "Sign in with Google", Genie asks only for permission to send email (gmail.send) plus your email address and name. Genie uses it only to send the emails you and your team write in Genie, from that address. This permission does not let Genie read, search or delete your mailbox.

Genie stores your address and an encrypted access token; you can revoke access any time from your Google Account or by removing the mailbox in Genie.

If you choose to receive mail with a Google app password, Genie stores that password encrypted and uses it only to bring that mailbox's emails into Genie and send replies.

Genie ERP's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need your information, we will securely delete or anonymize it.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
